My house...is an absolute sty.

Between beginning to pull down xmas decor, and pulling all the bins of outgrown clothing out of Alex's closet, and weeding out old toys...omg.

All our bins are heading over to ILs shed in prep for showings. Crazy. Crazy.

I feel like I'm in cleaning hell.

Re: My house...is an absolute sty.

  • Yay for cleaning out and prepping for showings!!! It must be so exciting! It must suck pretty hard core too, lol, but know it's for a good cause! Crossing my fingers for a quick sale of your place! Oh, and I will be joining you cleaning hell later. I took a look around my living room and kitchen this morning and "Oye" was all I could fathem. It's going to be a long night...

    Enjoy your day Heather!

  • I'm trying. See, DH is the cleaner and I'm the chef of the family, so you know it's bad if I attempt any sort of cleaning.

To be fair, it *is* more organizing than cleaning, but there's a little cleaning in there. :)

You have a good day too, Cayla!

  • Sounds hectic Heather!!!  I HATE HATE putting christmas stuff away.. but its like a breath of fresh air after everything is down and back to normal = )   You're going to have your hands full with the two kids and trying to keep the house is " show form" !!   Hopefully it won't be that long!
  • Thanks! I would much rather be at home though... working is for the birds!

Atleast you have two little kids at home... I have nothing that should be keeping me from cleaning. Once I get home and make dinner and change out of work clothes I have no energy. Uggg, I need a maid! Or a man who does dishes and laundry- either one would work for me.

  • Right there with ya.  Dirty/messy house.  Clothes and toys everywhere.  NO energy or time to clean.
  • I cannot even fathom trying to clean for showings with two little ones, and the end of the holidays...yikes!!
  • I feel like my house lately is just a perpetual mess.
  • I wish gift giving occasions would go away for awhile. ?Collecting more and more stuff here, but not letting go of anything= we need a bigger place!!!

    I hate cleaning.?
