As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Quickly set your privacy setting so she sees very, very little of your account. She'll just think you have the bare bones on there.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT ANYMORE EVER SINCE THEY CHANGED THE SETTINGS!!

Haha! At the top on the home page, roll your mouse over "settings," then click on "privacy settings."
You can make it so she only sees your info - nothing on your wall, no photos, no applications, no tagged photos, etc.
That's how I have my CWs set. Hehe.?
Okay.. I have to accept her first.. hopefully she won't look at anything while I am changing the settings hahaha
I am friends with my dad, but I don't care because I don't really have any secrets from him, and he never takes the time to look at anything on there anyway. But I got the email when he was in the office..

It doesn't bother me at all that my dad is on there, especially because he hardly uses it, he joined more as a joke than anything. But even if he used it regularly, I wouldn't care. I wouldn't care if my mom joined either. But when people I don't like friend me - like my MIL or my aunt, I freak out! :-P
Oh and this new way of doing privacy settings SUCKS.. you used to just be able to say 'they can only see my info.' Now you have to go to everything you don't want them to see, and individually set each one to block them. Grr

Lol that is funny! My parents are younger.. Most of the people I know whose parents are on there are there because they live across the country and it's easier to keep in touch :-)
