As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

quick question....does your midwife's office work with the sperm bank of your choosing or was there a limited selection?

right now i'm weighing our options to see which is the best financially...UCONN has a good fertility clinic located right around the corner, but I have a feeling they will only work with the larger, certified banks (i have a call in to confirm, but this was the case with the last CT RE we checked with). In that case, the sperm with shipping is more than 2x the price. So, we're considering going with the midwives so we can use one of the smaller (and less expensive) banks - we would just have to pay out of network for the IUIs...although the midwives are so reasonable that would quickly be made up for in the saved sperm costs. It would really just be the inconvenience....but, like you said, if we get to visit you guys it will be well worth it
I'm thinking we might try it for at least the first couple months....
