Hi ladies I typically post on a few national boards more frequently. However, I am looking for a great dog groomer, I was going to the Cat and Dog Spa on Burnside however EVERYTIME I cam home from their my dog had fleas on him. So I'm done giving chances. Anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Dog Groomer
Ugh, Dog and Cat Spa is TERRIBLE. We took our little girl there shortly after we got her and she was petrified, not to mention her haircut looked awful. Our dog trainer told us (after the fact, of course) that he would never take a dog there to be groomed as he knows the groomer and says some of her practices are "questionable" at best. Anyway, enough about where you've been.
We're currently using Geri at Animal Crossing on SE Woodstock. We started going there as it's close to our house but she's done a fairly decent job and our little girl seems to really like her. Granted, my husband has gone and stayed with her each time she's been groomed but our next door neighbors take their dogs there, and leave them, and feel equally as good about her.
I've also heard great things about Urban Fauna in the Pearl. The prices are steeper (not surprising) but I think grooming can be a bit traumatic so it might be worth the cost. Good luck!
