  • perhaps celebrities should stop vacationing in the Bahamas... isn't that where Anna Nicole's son died?
  • That is too sad.

  • Sasha - I thought the same thing. I also think it's weird that we never heard about his son. I mean I keep up with all the celebrity gossip, but I never knew that he and Kelly Preston had a son. Weird.

  • No parent should ever have to bury their child! ?That being said...?

After seeing the story on the news and hearing them say, the last time he was seen, he was going into the bathroom on Thursday. ?Um...HELLO, do you not check in on your kids before you go to bed? ?Why hadn't the caretaker checked in on him overnight? Both my DH & I were shocked at this. ?Especially since he had a history of seizures. ?I don't think I will ever stop looking in on J, before I go to bed.

I agree with Sasha, maybe celebs should stop vacationing in the Bahamas! ?

  • The kid was 16 - not an infant that someone checks up on all the time. I think you guys are being a little harsh.

  • I'm with Alisa.  He's 16, was capable of going to the bathroom and doing on his own before.  It's just an unfortunately accident.  Thoughts and prayers to all of them.

I agree! At 16 I had 2 jobs and had a late curfew. It wasn't unusual for me to get home after my parents went to bed or to stay home alone when they went out of town. Michaela's almost 12 and I stopped checking on her after she went to bed a very long time ago.

So sad though. No parent should ever have to lose a child.

  • Seriously. At 16 I was working full-time and in my own apartment.

His parents are devastated I am certain. The would, coulda, shoulda stuff is unnecessary.

  • I think he was actually really developmentally delayed---possibly had autism. If you look at pictures of him he definitely looks like something is wrong. And in addition he had a seizure disorder of some sort. So he had two caretakers for that reason.
