I don't want to spoil this for anyone who hasn't made it to Eclipse yet...

I feel stupid for being so annoyed, but I'm almost ready to throw this book down. I'm at the part where Alice is keeping Bella "hostage" while Edward is hunting. She just ran off from school with Jacob and his motorcycle and they are holding hands on the beach.

WTF???? I understand she's feeling "trapped" but really? if she's so immensly in love with Edward, why is she being so fuckinng stupid? 

I just need to know if it's worth it to go forth, lol. She really makes me hate her.

i've read the whole series, and it's so worth it... i was annoyed with her too... but you'll get over it.

the last book is the best... the ending is wonderful, and you'll love it.

I didn't much care for the first part of Eclipse either. I was mildly annoyed with Bella for being careless, but I was more annoyed with Edward for being so overprotective. He was beginning to seem unbecomingly controlling, so I was glad that he lightened up a little later.

It had to have been hard for her to have two people to choose from so essential to her existence. She couldn't stay away from either of them, but for different (or seemingly) reasons, so I cut her some slack. I have a best friend named Jacob who is much the same to me as he is to her, and I have that choice many times. It's hard.

Bella gets even more annoying after the part where you're at.  I couldn't really stand her through most of Eclipse, but it is worth reading it!

I totally agree. She is the most annoying character ever. "I only love you like a brother but I want to hold your hand and risk all happiness I have with the one I want to spent eternity with because holding your hand is so worth it to me". Dumb ho.

I understand where she's coming from..she's a teenager and fickle...lol. And she was all about Edward and he broke her. So, if I was in her position, I would have issues with knowing you have this unbelievable love with Edward, but you don't know if he'll stay, and having this pretty great love with Jacob knowing he will stay.
