Ok, so DH and I won a 19" flat screen from his office Christmas party. We wanted to replace our TV in the Master, and the 19" is too small for it. We brought the TV to Wal-mart to see if they carried the same one and would be willing to exchange it for us buying a larger one and pay the difference. They checked and it did come from there, so we went to the electronics section to pick out another one and we only liked a couple of them. Guess what - sold out. Sold out in the entire region AND online. UGH.
So, the customer service gave us a gift card with the full amount. Now we have to put the old TV back in the master (blah) and try to find a TV elsewhere AND have to spend $350 at Wal-mart at some point (not too hard, though, since we usually buy groceries there). We looked at Sam's, Circuit City, Best Buy, Sears, and Costco but couldn't find anything good in stock. We even looked online to see if we could do in-store pick-up and everything sucks. BLAH.
I know that's a stupid vent, but I wanted to b!tch somewhere.
Re: NTR: a little vent
His office Christmas party had a $350 gift? I am impressed.
Sucks about the one you want being out of stock, though.
They got gifts instead of bonuses. I would have rather had the cash!
