Well think about it.....is Edward going to age, will he someday look like an old man?
If Aro was turned when he was an old man...he should look like an old man. If he was turned as a young man in his twenties...he will look like that even 3000 years later.
I think the challenge will be to make him look "older" but not age older, the whole translucent skin thing tells his age in vamp years. I don't know how to explain but she does a decent job in the book. I actually ?think it will be scarier seeing someone or something look so young but really be very old and very dangerous, like hiding in plain sight.
SM never says they look old. In fact, she also describes them as beautiful - I'm guessing they are also relatively "young" even though they've been around for ages.
They do have that paper-think-looking skin, though. That should be interesting to see them try and recreate.?

but he is yummy and would add some flavor to the hotness posts?

Dear lord i would love for him to be Aro.
When I subconsciously created images in my head about the Volturi while reading, I did picture them a little bit older, but not ancient. Just older than the main cast.

Aro had black sleek hair that bella thought looked like a hood at first.
Casius I believe is the one with the white hair.
I always pictured Aro as older too. not OLD but later-40s at least.
But yum. I'd be up for seeing more of him in hottness posts. Hell, we could throw him in for good measure even if he doesn't get cast
