Anyone seen Lemony Snicket Series of Unfortunate Events?
The lady in there that lived in the house by the ocean....she worried about all of the weirdest things...like the fridge falling over or the glass door knobs getting too hot and exploding...that's me.
I worry about stuff that a normal person should not be worrying about. Today, when DH and I were at Best Buy, we were looking at the plasma TV's and I looked up and saw all of the TV boxes stored on shelves way up high. I said to DH, "I hope those shelves are sturdy. What if those shelves broke and those TV's came crashing down?" I actually moved Sophia's stroller further away!
I am starting on Zoloft soon and I hope it helps this anxiety/worrying too.
Re: Anyone seen Lemony Snicket Series of Unfortunate Events?
To begin with, love the movie. Such a fun one.
Anyway, I can understand the anxiety to some extent - mine is triggered by hormonal issues and is amplified by stress, so it was a fun ride figuring that one out. It can be frustrating to handle... I'm sorry you're dealing with it.
Hopefully the Zoloft works for you - they tried me on it to help with the hormonal problems (PMDD) for the week preceding my period and I was a zombie on it. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!
... every single day of forever.
I know EXACTLY what you mean! I'm the same way and sadly my anxiety has really affected my life.
I was in Philly for the Jeff Dunham show on Saturday and we were up in the upper seats (the ones above everyone) and the entire time all I could think of is what if the entire section would fall (nevermind the fact that the entire building is made of concrete and really sturdy!). Its just what I do. Thankfully I have meds that I've been on for years, without them I'm not sure I'd ever leave the house.
I hope that Zoloft helps you!
