NTR: Taking Madison to have her hair cut
for locks-of-love today. Actually it is Pantenes version of locks of love. I cannot wait. Her hair is crazy long and driving me nuts! Anyone ever do this?

I've never done it, but I'm SO glad she's doing Pantene's program rather than Locks of Love. I wish I had held onto the article's link, but there was a story a while back about how little of the donated hair LoL actually uses compared with Pantene - LoL is just more well known even though Pantene has the better program.
I had heard that before, which is why I wanted to do something other than locks for love. I also wanted anyone to get the hair- not just a child. There are many women who need wigs too.
I feel like DH & I must be doing something right. Both my girls are very giving. They request no bday presents- we do donations to a hospital where Madison was as a child (with no influence from us- it was their choice) and now she wanted to do this. I am very proud of her. I don't know many 3 & 6 year old that say they don't need presents. This past year was their 2nd birthday doing it and they already said they want to do it again next year.
