Breaking Dawn. Can we discuss? Beware SPOILER!!!
Someone just told me about this board. I love twilight. the two others were ok and now I am on breaking dawn.
I am enjoying it. Its kind of weird. I am not enjoying the jacob section. I find myself kind of skipping sentences when the words are italic. I get bored when he talks. anyone else feel this way? I am halfway through Jacobs section.
I cant believe she is pregnant.I kind of have a feeling I know the ending. I am just trying to get into the jacob section.

This is a tricky little post. I don't want to slip up!
To answer your last question, though, I actually really enjoyed Jacob's book. It was the first time I really started to understand him and saw him as more than a stupid teen boy driven by his peen.?
My first time through, I felt a lot like you. ?On the re-read, though, I ended up really appreciating hearing Jacob's POV during this time. ?Keep going and let us know what you think when you are done. ?
You will see lots of funny icons like the 2 first posters did because lots of people on here have very mixed feelings about BD but will keep their mouths shut until a new reader is finished with it and has their own opinions made. ?: )
I responded to your post on the NBC board as follows:
Breaking Dawn took me through the range of emotions -- love, like and hate. The jury's still out on which emotion won.
Truly though, I liked it much more the second time around, but yeah, I agree the Jacob parts wore on my nerves a bit. Although the chapter titles did crack me up!

i liked the jacob part alot - though i am very pro-Jacob. i agree with pp that it gave me more perspective into him - or maybe it was that I was getting a little fed up with Bella.
Ooh, let's play. Tell us how you think it's going to end... just to see where you see SM going with it.
I'm still undecided on BD. I've read it a couple times and I don't mind the Jacob chapter, it does add to his character development. I have to admit that I love the chapter titles in Jacob's book-they were hilarious!

Ditto, except that I didn't mind Jacob's part...but was glad to get back to Bella's POV-as much as she annoys me. I have a love/hate relationship with BD. Don't want to ruin it though so keep reading!

Ditto - and Jacob is the right 3rd party to tell it, everyone else would be too biased in some form or another.

I actually liked that Jake told that part of the story. I dont think I would have enjoyed hearing Bella's view & Edward would be way to concerned with getting it out of her to be a very big part.
However 1 part made me want to bang my head aganst a wall till I forgot I read it. You'll see.
