Hey! I think I will start my next read with the first in the Women's Murder Club series you mentioned. Are there any other mystery/crime authors that you recommend? Back in my reading days I loved mysteries, but don't know where else to start now. My mom loves the J.D. Robb books, but I couldn't get into them...

I am usually a chick lit girl (it's brain junk food for me...don't hate!) but my friend has been suggesting books for me.
one book that i really liked was "the winner" by David Baldacci - but I haven't read any more of his books.
another mystery (with a splash of romance) author I've read is Linda Howard. To Die for, Dying to Please and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Really easy reads.
have you also checked out www.paperbackswap.com? You can get all those books on there since they are 'older'
You can search "ALL" books and add ones that are not posted yet to your wish list - it will notify you when they are available.
and it's sort of neat because it will also maintain a "books I've read" list for you.
