Do you write thank you notes for Christmas gifts?

Do you write thank-yous after Christmas?

Only to certain people?  If so, who and how do you decide?

Re: Do you write thank you notes for Christmas gifts?

  • I don't think I have ever written a thank-you for anything like Christmas or birthday, so I'm not any help, sorry!
  • I do if the gift was sent to me.
  • I write one to my boss.  He loves receiving thank you notes, so it's just an added touch to send him one.  Other than that I haven't ever written any thank you notes for Christmas.
  • P.S. How are you feeling??? How's the bebe???

  • I always write one to my grandmother and 2 aunts.  They live together, so address them all with one note.  My grandma, of course, would rather I not waste the stamp b/c she knows I appreciate them all. :-)  Everyone else gets a gracious, verbal thank-you.
  • I write them if a gift was sent to me also.  Usually not to people that I see in person.  This year I am writing one to my parents, just because I felt their gifts were extra special.

I am feeling great!  Thanks for asking!  The bebe is growing.  We will find out if it's a boy or girl at the end of the month!  Woohoo!! :)

  • I have never even thought about doing that since the people who give them to me are right there with me. I would always send a note if I received a gift in the mail or if for some reason the person who gave it to me wasn't there when I opened it.

I always wrote one to the boss when I worked, but she was almost always the only one I would write a thank you note to.

  • Since we moved away from our family, they always send gifts, so I always write thank you's to them.  Smile
