My life was a lot like the reverse of my big fat greek wedding for a while there. I went from being an only child & small not so close family to his huge loud greek one that calls everyone at least once a week just to say hi.
This may make me sound like a b!tch - but I'm gonna say it anyway :-P Luckily, I am not very much in touch with my Greek side. My grandmother (Yiayia hehe) is very much in touch with it, and is really obnoxious about it. But she is also old and stubborn and rude, so that makes it worse. But she makes some great pita! haha

Sometimes I wish we could be less in touch with them too lol. But they are really great people so I dont mind to much. DH's family just came over before he was born so they are all REALLY greek lol.
