Mommy Poll: What are your kids into?
Julian has recently developed a LOVE for trains. I am in serious train overload. I think he is obsessed. He has this one train shirt that he wants to wear all the time. He would wear it everyday if he could.
Thank goodness I get a break every now than then from trains and he goes to his second LOVE... Little Einsteins.

They are obsessed with the Purina Dog Diving Championships. And turtles. The Wonder Pets still. Animals and books. Anything Mickey.
And water. They soak the entire bathroom during bath time.
Mar is into anything with music. She's obsessed with the opening of any of the Disney shows. If she hears the opening song to Hanna Montana or Suite Life from another room - she starts screaming and runs to dance in front of the tv. Then when the show comes on, she's resumes playing in the other room. haha
She's also obsessed with her purse. It goes everywhere with her. She crams tons of stuff into it. Takes it all out, gets more stuff & crams it in there. When we leave to run an errand she has to take her Hanna Montana phone, sippy cup & her purse.
If she's like this at 21 months, what in the heck are we in for at age 15? Ahhhhhhh!?

Rhian idolizes Michaela so she's obsessed with Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. I have to listen to her rattle off about which JB is the cutest and which one she likes most. The funny thing is that her fave differs from Michaela's so I get to listen to them bicker about it. She's also obsessed with reading. She wants me to read anything and everything to her, reciepts, grocery lists, cereal boxes, books. We go to the library at least 2x a week because she can't get enough books. She told me that she wants to learn to read so we are working on letters and sounds right now. Michaela was reading by 4 and it looks like Rhian may follow suit.
Reese just goes with the flow. She loves to pester Rhian and goes nuts over any type of animal. She likes wooden puzzles and books but has zero interest in tv or loud and flashy toys.
Currently Rj is into Ben 10-everything is Ben 10 this and that. heck we even sucked into it. I got him a Ben 10 Wii game and dh and I ended up getting into it that we finished the game. Now we found ourselves looking for a Ben 10 jacket-cuz it would be cool if Rj went to school wearing it-
He still loves his Thomas stuff but once Ben 10 hits-its over. Celeste is really into books. When she sees a book or magazine she will give it to you and then she will position her self to sit on your lap and read to her.

Jos is really into the Crayola Color Wonder books. I love the mess-less markers. Also into Barbie dolls (we have 10 - OMG!) and DH has allowed her some computer time with him to play Barbie dress up & decorate your room games. Ai!
Nat is into playing kitchen...her size and Barbie size. She'll cook stuff up and go to each of us to let us sample it...imagine stopping what you're doing to take a taste of her culinary skills on a Barbie-sized spoon. Yup - happens almost every day. Nat's also into her baby dolls and all the toy baby gear.
DH is into trains, boats and aircrafts. Besides the boat we're going to some day build in our some-day-garage, we're apparently going to build a gyro-copter. No joke ladies!

we need to get our kids together. They can be the next couple on Dancing with the Stars.
Julian loves music too. He is all about singing and dancing. It is funny to hear him "sing" his favorite songs. Right now he is not really into the Disney songs. His faves are "when I grow up", "September", "Across the universe", and "I know why the dog howls at the moon" (a random song from the George of the Jungle Movie".
Isaac is into guitar hero and world tour. He plays the same System of a Down song, "BYOB" over and over and over.....And he's into Ghosts. Yeah, I'm the scardy cat and he's asking me about spirits and crap. OMG. This is what happens when you buy your son a series of Goosebump books!
Ella is into everything. Yeah, everything. Can't leave a purse, shoes, waterbottle, diaperbag, diaper wipes or anything within her little arms reach. She's exploring. Aside from that she just wanders around the house watching what Isaac does. It seems she has no faves just whatever he does she has to do. Poor kid can't even brush his teeth without her crying at the door for him.
Gavin is into Pirates, he runs around "arrhing", he picked it up from the Backyardigans Pirate episode which I play in the car for him. He loves music and dancing as well. And he loves, loves to be outside...he's like a cat when you are trying to walk through the door and he's trying to escape through any open space possible!
Oh, and this is a little off topic, but hilarious. This weekend on two separate occassions we drove by a Starbucks and he started shouting "mama, mama" and pointing at the Starbucks sign in front of the store. Of course DH was like "you think you go there too much"? Seriously, it cracked me up like you can't imagine.
OMG Mindy, Julian does the same thing. I bought a pirate hat from Disneyland for my class to take pics. He has now adopted the hat and will play in the house with his pirate hat (still in pjs), saying "arrrrrr".
Mia is into anything Disney Princess, The Sprout channel, The Doodlebops, and Watching the Wizard of Oz. She is attached to a teddy bear that she got when she was born, this thing goes everywhere!
