Has anyone gone to RE at Froedtert?
I loathe mine and I need to find someone new who doesn't make me feel like a slab of infertile meat with a credit card.
Any other recommendations in the Milwaukee-ish area? I am actually south of there, but I have come to terms with the need to travel.
Thanks!
Re: Has anyone gone to RE at Froedtert?
I saw dr robb and dr sandlow at froedtert. Robb doesn't have the best bedside mannor but I now have a cute baby. If you have any MF, Sandlow if the best. I have heard great things about Sr. Stram, but it takes a while to get in to see him. Let me know if you have any questions - you can find me on SAIF or e-mail me at "nestname" @ yahoo . com

Hey,
If you don't have to go to Froedtert, you might want to check out Dr. Wittmaack in West Allis. He was unbelievably friendly, and all of the staff that I dealt with there was great. I also met Dr. Hayes for one u/s and she was nice too.
Plus, Dr. Wittmaack has office hours in Kenosha twice a month, and the majority of the lab work can be done at other Aurora clinics and they'll fax it up there. (though I think for the u/s's they might want you in West Allis, we just went there since I was off work)
Of course, we've yet to see if his magic has worked yet or not, but I was really impressed at how non-condescending he was...some dr's can be very authoritative.
I've also heard good things about Dr. Koh.
Let me know if you have more questions. Good luck.
I'm really late responding to this since I am normally on the bump and not the nest anymore.
Anyway, I saw both Dr. Robb and Dr. Strawn at Froedtert and ended up really disliking Dr. Strawn. You just see whomever is in the office that day, except for your initial consult, so since I couldn't avoid having Dr. Strawn I switched clinics.
If you are getting to the point of doing IVF I would recommend Dr. Sherbahn at the Advanced Fertility clinic in Gurnee, IL. His success rates are higher than the clinics here in Milwaukee and although he's not the friendliest guy around the staff is pretty nice and attentive. And, since my IVF worked I'm obviously biased.
Good luck to you.
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then success with condoms! Who would ever have guessed.
