Shiiit.  Is it really that bad??  Can I at least bear through it??  I hate to buy a book and then not read it at all.  I knew I should have asked your opinion first........

You can certainly give it a go, but I would never in my right mind (or insane mind) recommend this book to anyone.  I finished it just because I would have been scarred for life to say there was an SK book I couldn't finish but for me, yes, it was that bad.

The one and only SK book I HATE!  I still don't know truly what a blood bool is????  Just bad!

P.S. I also hated Rose Madder, but that's a different story.

I almost bought this book at Barnes and Noble cause it was on sale and it was by SK. I'm glad I didn't.

I think it took me 5 weeks to finish it.  I had the hardest time motivating myself to even pick it up.  Dh was laughing at me.  I took the pure horrible-ness of it personally.  He said he has never seen me so mad over a book (even when I threw Hannibal Rising across my bedroom).  It was just awful.  I know there are a few people out there who like it- God bless them- I don't know what they see in it.
