First, my cw put in Dave on Pandora and she is getting a ton of songs from him and the band, including one I didn't know! I had to run over and look at the title, it was from the first cd they did.
Second, do you like Guster? just curious
Ok, I'm going to lunch in a few, just fyi in case I don't post back right away
Re: jcam (ntr)
Ooo what song was it!? I think I have heard pretty much all of them at this point, but there are some I am less familiar with.
Guster - I don't really know anything of theirs actually
Enjoy your lunch! I'll be here when you get back :-)
It was The Song that Jane Likes. Which I know I just don't hear it very often and was totally drawing a blank.
Guster is fairly similar sounding to DMB, you should look into them. They put on an awesome live show too. They played at my college and did an awesome little improv about playing bags, lol
Nice - they played that at the Gorge this year actually :-)
I will have to check out some Guster stuff.. any specific songs or albums you recommend over others? Another band who are like Dave that I love is O.A.R. - they are sooo awesome live, and they opened for Dave at the Gorge, which was sweet
Oh I like them.
Guster on Ice is an awesome live cd and has most of their hits and greatest songs. My fav song is Airport Song and FaFa is good too.
::off to itunes to listen::
Ya I looove O.A.R. We had seen them live a couple years ago, and they were the deciding factor for us going to the Gorge. We figured not only would it be amazing to see Dave there three days in a row, but with O.A.R. opening it was like two for one!
Of course we were too busy drinking to get there early enough to see them the first night, and we missed half their show the second night haha
But the third night we saw the whole thing!
Third time's the charm
I need to download some OAR
I would recommend their live album Any Time Now
I also have their live from Madison Square Garden album, it's good, more of their newere stuff. Not as good as ATN
And I have their latest cd that came out - All Sides. It's good. Like Dave, they are MUCH better live
Very cool.
Ah, Dave live... heaven
Indeed
Okay I'm outta here, I'll talk to you later!
