OK, I decided I'm just going to do the 25 in 2009. I only have 20 books on my to-read list on Goodreads. Which leaves 5 more. What does everybody recommend?
To give you an idea of what I have already, I have some Stephen King, The Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice, Wuthering Heights, Little Women, and Jane Eyre.
Siggy coming soon....
Re: Need book recs
It's basically something that was made up by the Nest Book Club board. You can either read 25, 50, or 100 books in 2009. I'm doing 25 in 2009. If you wish to do this you can create an account on Goodreads where you can make bookshelves: books you've read, currently reading, or to-read. You can browse the books by putting in a title or author of the book you're looking for and you list pops up, then it'll prompt you to add it to any bookshelves.
Also, Crystal posted a link to a blog in the post titled 50 in 2009 that talks about it and it gives a spreadsheet where you can add up points (I'm not quite sure how it works though.)
Hope that helps!
