My dog is missing

He went with my father on their annual trip to Maryland to hunt and was last seen at 6am on 1/5. His picture is below, the one laying down.

I still can't tell anyone w/o crying. DH says don't cry b/c then you've given up. If you don't cry then you're staying positive that he'll be found.

Ugh.

Re: My dog is missing

  • OMG I am so sorry. I have 3 dogs who are my world so I understand how hard it must me.  Where did he get lost? Maryland??? How did he get lost?
  • He is lost in Maryland.  The Eastern Shore, near Ridgely/Greensboro.  Evidently they were let out to pee about 6am.  He ran off.  This is especially strange since the 2 stick together like glue.  He was possibly seen today in a town about 5 miles away.
  • I hope he turns up. Is your dad still up there looking for him? Dogs are smart, I bet he finds his way home!
  • Shammy, my SIL lives on the Eastern Shore. I'll send her the photo. Was he wearing his orange hunting collar? What's his name?

  • Yes, he had his orange collar, with a flat brass tag.

    Contact info on the collar:

He went missing from the Ridgely area and we think he was last spotted in Greensboro, MD

    His name is Ace.

Thanks in advance for passing it along.

  • Oh, man, i hope someone can find Ace.

You've probably done this, but you may want to contact the rescues around the area, especially any spaniel rescues, as well as the shelters, the Humane Societies, etc.  Good luck!  You must be scared to death.  i can't imagine!
