Need restaurant recommendations for Fort Wayne
Hi-
I live in Fort Wayne currently, and some of my college friends are coming in for a visit this weekend. Can anyone recommend a good pub or restaurant/bar where we could go for dinner/drinks? We normally don't go out b/c we have a toddler, and the adult scene isn't something I'm very familiar with. Oh, and we live on the SW side, if that makes a difference.

Not sure what you're looking for, but here are a few suggestions.
Club Soda is a chic, sophisticated martini bar and jazz club kind of place. Looks like they're a little pricy- around $25 per person for entrees. (plus drinks and salads or apps...) I've never personally been there, but heard it's great and that it doesn't feel "hoity toity" or anything. Just relaxed. www.clubsodafortwayne.com
Joseph Decuis is probably one of the best restaurants in the state. It's outside of Fort Wayne, though, in Roanoke. And, it's also super pricey. But if any of your girlfriends are foodies, it's worth it. For a totally casual neighborhood bar kind of place (with great food, actually!), I like the Green Frog. The mayor's wife owns the place and I've hung out with here there. Very cool stuff.
