thoughts on Surgeon General appointment...
Erika, I thought of you when I posted this, but figured there might be others who would want to comment. So, what does everyone think of Obama nominating cnn's health correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta for the position of Surgeon General? In addition to being a correspondent, he's also a neurosurgeon and a professor at Emory University. Oh, and he was voted as one of People's "Sexiest Men Alive." An interesting choice.

All joking aside, its smart! People are familiar with him, comfortable with him, etc and he's a great physician with fed experiance. I think its super smart because he may get people to listen and engage in healthy behavior because of who he is and people's familiarity with him. GENIUS!
I still want Dr. Elders back though!!!!
