Twilight DVD Cover Looks Familiar

Bloody-Disgusting.com already has the cover art for the Twilight DVD. Summit Entertainment hasn?t announced an official release date for the discs yet, but I?ve read everything from Valentine?s Day rumors to an estimated March 2009 street date.

During the relentless promotion of the movie, interviewers pressed the director for details of what fans might expect from the DVD release. Catherine Hardwicke admitted she was already working on the DVD in November and answered a few questions at the time.

Hardwicke said there will be 12 deleted or extended scenes on the DVD and Blu-Ray in a separate section (not an extended cut version). Scenes like the diner discussion on her first day of school have been included in their entirety. She also put together some montages and a ?pretty wild? music video for a remix of the song ?Bella?s Lullaby.? Finally, Hardwicke told MTV she shot a scene from Edward?s perspective, a glimpse at Stephenie Meyer?s abandoned novel Midnight Sun, that will show up on the DVD.

Unfortunately, the DVD cover is just a rehash of the poorly done theatrical poster. I hope there?s a special feature that explains how light can be shining on both sides of their faces.

I can't wait. I wish they had a done a full extended version. That would have been so awesome! I am going to watch the deleted scenes first thing and then watch the commentary!
