The economy is awful right now - my husband was laid off right before Thanksgiving due to the economy. He was a Senior Financial Analyst. He spends hours on the computer every day trying to find a new job, but is still looking. I don't know how much longer we're going to last on my teacher salary.
If anyone has any contacts with any companies down here that they could share, it would be greatly appreciated. My husband is a great guy, a very hard worker, and has always received rave reviews at work. He has his MBA and would love to get his CPA someday. He's willing to commute up to an hour each way to work and has even considered taking a job that required him to be away Monday-Friday if it were offered.
Thanks in advance - we really appreciate it!
Re: Wondering if anyone can help....
Normally I'd suggest contacting staffing firms, but my husband works for one and I know that they even have very few jobs to fill right now.
Is he active in any alumni or professional groups? I think networking is the only way to find a job in this economy. Most positions are filled without being posted. It's all about who you know!
my email is e.dukart at hotmail dot com
thank you very much!!!
Thanks for all your help, ladies! I'll keep you posted :-)
