NM/Eclipse

So.....

If they are filming NM & Eclipse back to back, won't they have to make the decision on whether or not to end the movies with Eclipse sometime in the next few months?  None of the actors have agreed to the 4th movie, and I'm not so sure Breaking Dawn would be a good thing for this franchise anyway.

Any thoughts?

P.S. If RP & KS still haven't read BD (they said before that neither of them had), can you imagine the look on their faces if they decide to do a 4th movie THEN read the book?

I hope they do all 4. I think they can do it in a fashion that will make it a bit more exciting than the book without changing too much!

I'm sure they'll get married and get vamped, but I wonder if they'll decide to go the path of the demon spawn or just cut their losses.

LOL!! I think RP would look something like this..

I, too, hope that they do BD, and the way it was written. While it may have had some 'WTF?!' moments, I did like the book, and I think if they are going to do the movie they shouldn't remove major plot points.

I've been wondering about this too.  I would love to see BD made, but it'll be a challenge to film!  Plus, they'd have to renegotiate salaries for BD and that might get expensive!  (And we know how cheap summit is!)

If they don't make BD, I hope they atleast have a longer Eclipse and include a little of DB.

Haha....they would probably think they were getting punk'd or something.

I think they should do BD, but change a LOT. I don't think they can end the series with Eclipse and not have Bella becoming a vamp. It's such a major theme in all the books, whether she's going to get to become one or not. But yeah I think they could get rid of the spawn and be fine! Then have an actual battle at the end and they'll be good. I wonder what SM would have to say about that.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERTS IN MY POST!

 

I did not even really mind the spawn part (except the name & imprinting part)  ... it was the whole "Lets add 30 new characters toward the end of the last book & then have a not fight scene" that made me want to hit something.

Without the imprinting, the war would have been between the werewolves and the vamps bc I'm pretty sure Jacob would have really killed the baby.?
