Where do you get your fabric?  Obviously I'm not going to use really nice stuff to start off with, but I'd like to know for the future.  Around here isn't there only Hobby Lobby and Details?

Re: Vid

  • I get some at OSC, they use to have just granny looking quilt stuff, but now they are getting Amy Butler and some cute Michael Miller prints.  They also have lots of polka dots and some other cute ones.  I get a lot at Kids Kloset.  They have some super adorable stuff.  I like more funky than traditional and she is good at keeping a good selection in of both.  I don't know about you MIL's style, but they have some cute fabrics for aprons. But they are only open 10-5 and 10-2 on Sat.  They have some really cute kids samples and other stuff.  Then I order from fabric.com.  It is in GA and my stuff usually only takes 1-2 to get here.  They send free shipping and 30% off coupons through email.  Also buy from HL when they have the 40% off coupons.  Walmart in Opelika has a much better selection than Auburn WM.  I would prob start there or HL to practice with.  Most of the sewing stores/internet cottons are about $8.50 a yd which is too much $ for me to play on.
