Pediatrician Rec. in Mt. Juliet Area
Can anyone rec. a ped. in the Mt. Juliet area (or surrounding). I am not loving my current office and really just want to find a ped. that I really really like. I am willing to drive up to 1/2 an hour or so if it's someone good. I would also like them to be affiliated with Vanderbilt if possible.
Thank you very much.
Rachel
Re: Pediatrician Rec. in Mt. Juliet Area
I love Childrens Clinic East. They have a ton of pedi's to choose from, depending on your style. I have had Dr. Kirshner in the Hermitage office and really liked him. He wasn't overly aggressive, which worked for me. You know, not quick to just prescribe stuff. The only issue with the Hermitage office is that it is bigger and I always had a pretty decent wait time.
I moved over to the Mt. Juliet office about a year ago. I see Dr. Shephard there. He is great. Real quiet and gentle. Very pro-active which I appreciated and I never felt rushed. Oh, and the Mt. Juliet clinic is a little smaller and I have almost never had to wait more than 10 minutes, which is nice
There are quite a few other Drs. in that practive that are highly recommended. Dr. Wells is one and Dr. Johnston also.
I delivered at Baptist, so I don't know if they go to Vandy, but I don't see why not. A call would probably answer that question. Good luck!
