JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!   I always wanted to live in CA, but never got the nerve to move all the way across the nation.  Now it's too late, and DH's job keeps us stuck in one place.

I am from FL, only in NE a few years so I've heard it would be like moving back home, less the humidity which is the #1 reason I hated FL.

I'm really excited, I hope this happens! There are still a few things DH is not happy with, like my job options & the housing out there. We'll see!

DH's offer is in irvine... We are looking in area's around there to move. Could you give us some idea's of places to look & ones to avoid?

I'm not all that familiar with the neighborhoods around Irvine to be able to name them.  Laguna Beach is near Irvine and is VERY nice but also expensive.  When I drive to Laguna there are very nice areas around there I just don't know them by name.  As you come further south there is San Clemente which is a very cute little surfer town but that might be a commute to Irvine.  (Traffic on the 405, which I believe is the freeway you would be traveling) can be really bad). 

  Sorry I'm not more help in the neighborhoods around there.  I could definitely tell you lots of info on San Diego if you come down to visit though!
