Also, how come you only got an hour of sleep??
Re: J&T
(C&P from my local)
I had my first adverse reaction to medication last night - awesome timing. My immune system is still being craptastic, and the Z-Pack didn't kick whatever is hanging around. They called in a script for amoxicillin and told me to take Mucinex - yeah, never taking that *** again.
As soon as I closed my tired eyes last night, my mind took off racing. It was such a bizarre sensation. It felt like my thoughts were on ice skates or something. Then after a bit, restlessness kicked in. If I wasn't wiggling my foot or something, my muscles would all get tense till I shifted around.
After and hour, it clicked that it was probably the mucinex. Sure enough, the only warnings on the box said to stop taking it and call a doctor if you are dizzy (nope, thank goodness), nervous (anxious? check.) or sleepless (check.).
I finally fell asleep after 3:30, but was up again at 5. I haven't been able to fall back to sleep since. I gave up at 7 and will try again later. I kind of feel like the energizer bunny right now, though I can't imagine the lack of sleep is going to help my immune system.
Fun, fun, fun.::skips off to read my love letter from jcam::
Holy crap!!! You are probably going to crash hard
Sorry it wasn't much of a love letter haha.. I replied to your last message there, then realized I could have just done it here.
Something I've been meaning to ask you - have you ever looked at any of my wedding pictures?
Yeah, I just hope that, when I do crash, it doesn't completely screw up my sleeping schedule. At this point, I almost want to stay up all day just so that doesn't happen. I just don't want to tire myself out so much that my already-lame immune system backpedals whatever progress the meds make.
No worries about the lack of love.
I also replied.
And no, I don't think I've ever checked out your wedding pics. Are they in your bio? I'm looking now. I wonder if there's a fun surprise to find! Did Adam Sandler come to your wedding?
LOL I wish.. I would have made him sing 'Grow Old With You' hahaha
::waits for J&T to realize our cosmic connection::
My, my - what a pretty blue sash! (did I get it??)
Also - no joke - our first dance was to "Grow Old With You." No Adam, though. Sad. But DH's best friend played it on his acoustic guitar/sang it for us. I didn't like the recordings of the real song, even if it was Adam.
Um yep.. and one of your BM's dress was the same color as my girls, and I got married on the ocean too, but at a rose garden instead of a beach
STFU! I obviously had no idea that was your first dance, I swear it is our fate that made me say that hahaha.. that is so cute though! We almost had that song played when we walked back down the aisle, but picked Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Somewhere Over the Rainbow instead
I did also notice the BM dress and the beach, but I wasn't sure if that's where you were married or if it was a stop for pics. However, I got married on Lake Erie - no ocean for me - just my good ol' near-home GL beach. I can see how it'd be mistaken for the ocean, though, esp. if you've never been to the great lakes (?). First-timers always remark how it looks as big as the ocean.
And the comment - it was definitely fate. I almost replied about that first bc of your cosmic-connection comment and figured you didn't know about that. Too funny!
Oh ya we got married there.. you can't tell from the 'during the ceremony' pics but the ocean was right behind us. You see it more in the after the ceremony pics of us.
I have driven by the lakes (I-90 across country) but it was in the middle of the night, so I didn't see anything haha.. your pics definitely look like the ocean
I just figured you were married in NC!
I've been meaning to ask where around Cleveland you are from.. you can pm it if you want. I went to college with someone from Shaker Heights
PS what kind of doggy do you have, and why isn't s/he AW'd on facebook??
The name of my hometown is on my facebook page. It's a teeny tiny town about 30 mi NE of Cleveland - Shaker is probably a 20-minute drive from my hometown.
Meet Lucky:
She's a small terrier mix - we're guessing she's part Yorkie, Cairn or Norwich terrier.
As for not having her on my facebook, I'm just lazy. I have a flickr account (that is horribly neglected lately), so I upload my photos there. I used to have it linked from my facebook, but I unlinked it bc I didn't feel like having it available to all the people "friending" me from hs just to friend me. You know the type - they're just nosy.
She is sooo cute! You should definitely put some of her on fb
Or give me your flickr link haha.. I just use fb for all of my pics, as you might have noticed from my 599384203723974 albums on there!
Off to lunch, talk to ya later on
