Hilton Head Question
Hello,
My husband and I would like to rent a house/condo in Hilton Head for one week this summer. I'm at a loss about where to start - internet searches are overwhelming. We would need a pet friendly place and most likely a one bedroom. Walking distance to the beach is top priority.
Any suggestions or contacts would be greatly appreciated!

I live on Hilton Head Island and am in the real estate industry here, so I hope that I can help you, eventhough your post is from over a month ago.
A great way to find vacation homes in the area is a website, vrbo.com. This site will allow you to search by location and bedrooms and will even tell you up front which properties are "pet friendly." The postings/reservations are made directly by the property owners, so you can sometimes negotiate on the price rather than dealing with a rental company and paying them commissions. Another reputable rental company that I deal with quite often is Goode Vacation Rentals which is locally owned and operated by a gentleman named Brian Goode.
