Watching the 1st episode of the new Real World
and there's a guy from PA (Gettysburg), and he is the "bumpkin." Not like the usual midwestern dumb girl bumpkin, but he's definetly the bumpkin.
It does look like it'll be an interesting season, which I'm probably too old to be watching (or to admit I'm watching...)
Re: Watching the 1st episode of the new Real World
Oh I so wanted to be on Road Rules... I would have picked either but Road Rules would have been my choice, because you won kick ass prizes.
My DH graduated with him!!!
He said he's absolutely not a "bumpkin" IRL - just a "goofball" (DH's word) and was pretty nice - involved in lots of film/directing stuff in HS. His dad apparently teaches music/band at our MS. Makes sense, though, that the show would portray him as the bumpkin, coming from our tiny little town!
Small world!
... every single day of forever.
I usually don't post...just a lurker! But I work in Gettysburg and they actually did some filming here for the current season. The cast was involved in some charity bike ride from Gettysburg to NY during the fall and came to volunteer. They were supposed to come to our business but bailed out at the last minute. I know that they got a tour of the battlefield and had dinner at the Pike. So it will be interesting to see if any of the Gettysburg footage makes it on air!
That's cool to know. I'll definitely out to watch for it.
