Hard Wood Floors!
So... while everyone else here is starting a family I feel very odd to be excited about something like... wood floors LOL. But that's where E and I are in our lives.
We received a phone call from our landlord that the previous tenant moved out of OUR apartment and that the option for hard wood flooring is available in the living, dining, kitchen, hall, bathroom, and sink area!! Everywhere but the bedroom! I am sooooooo excited...:)
Main reason is... we have 2 dogs and 3 cats... Im so excited to not have to vacuum 3 times a day due to my asthma. Now all I need is a swiffer!
Ok. Anyway now that I feel totally ridiculous... Congrads on all the babies! 
I'm jealous... very jealous. lol.
Re: Hard Wood Floors!
The last 3 places we have lived/rented have been all carpet. My 4 main requests for the new place were... first floor, washer/dryer in unit, bigger kitchen, and hard floors... we got all but the washer/dryer in unit however they have a ful service laundry room, with tv, next to the gym and only about 40 steps from my front door so that works for me.
Allergies suck, they make it hard to enjoy home ...at least for me.
I wonder what the arch. was thinking when he/she/ze planned the flooring in your home? Especially for the bathroom/kitchen ><
I like carpet in the bedroom 'cause I like that as a cozy/romantic room... the livingroom we just bought an area rug for (so I was praying we would get the hard floors) and thats good enough for me... I count on a comfy sofa in the livingroom lol.

hardwood floors are definitely something to be excited about!!! They are soooooo much easier w/ pets - it was actually our #1 requirement when we were looking for a house. ENJOY
