allergies?
Hi gals! Ok, this is going to sound really odd, but here goes. I'm new to Tx (only been here a year) and I'm not sure if I have allergies or what. Why do I itch all over??? Hubby said it could be histamine from the mountain cedar? Thing is, I'm not stuffy or anything like that (saw the post down below), I feel fine otherwise, I just ITCH like you wouldn't believe! My nose itches, my whole body itches. Anyone else get like this? Could it just be dry skin or allergies? I don't know what to do! I don't want to take benedryl because then I'll probably sleep all of the time! HELP!
Re: allergies?
Sometimes the mountain cedar makes my skin itch, too. I would take an antihistamine. Also, I found that Lubriderm Intense Healing (something to that effect) works really well to keep me from being so itchy. Look for the one that says something about dry, itchy skin. It's been great for me.
Also, next year you may get more "typical" allergy symptoms if you are reacting like this next year. The same thing happened to me when I moved here years ago. Hope you feel better!
