BOO Panthers!!!
Did anyone watch the game? sucked pretty bad.
No I'm not a HUGE panthers fan (well in all reality I'm not much of a pro football fan at all...I like college)...but I cheer for the panthers before any other team and it's always nice to have a local team make it to the super bowl... oh well. maybe next year??

Okay I feel dumb. I don't even watch football, so the first thing that popped into my head was the Florida Panthers...the NHL hockey team that seriously embarassed my Atlanta Thrashers this weekend.

I moved to Charlotte the year before the Panthers came to town. I think that the 2-3 years after that were the best years for the franchise-just b/c the "newness" hadn't worn off yet.
Fast Forward to this weekend-another play off game and ANOTHER panther..ahem Jake Delhome (or go home as my DH says) screw up.
I thought that surgery was supposed to help him bring the Panthers and their fans up-not make fools out of them again.
Guess I'll stick to my Miami Dolphins next year-at least their record DID improve this season-whoo hoo.
Although, as with the dolphins, I have to say, surprises DO happen....just don't know if the Panthers have any more surprises up their sleeves.
