WWYD Sell or Give it away??

I collect Sid Dickens tiles ( http://www.siddickens.com/en/ ) and I have a letter "P" tile. My ex's last name begins with that letter. I don't want it anymore. Should I sell it or give it to my x-MIL. She doesn't collect them but she might like it. They cost about 80-90 dollars new and they go up in value when they retire.

Re: WWYD Sell or Give it away??

  • Do you still talk to your Ex MIL?  If not then I would try to sell it.
  • I sort of talk to her and I run into her alot at the store or target. She is always sweet when I see her and tells me she still loves me and I will always be her DIL. In fact she wants me to tell her what I'm having so she can buy me a gift, which is werid I think.

  • sell it and get a mani/pedi at a fancy place!  :-)  hope you're well sweetie!
  • I would give it to her....if you still have a good relationship (like you said) I think it would be a nice unexpected gift.
  • Hard one. I did something like that -- gave a ring back to an ex. I thought I was being nice, but he was PISSED because "I didn't want it anymore". Sorry, dude, you rejected me and decided you didn't love me anymore, I don't want your little ring (years after the fact) and BTW, it pisses off my fiance (at the time) that I have a ring from another man.

So, I gave it back and he was completely pissed about it. If you don't think she'll take it as a rejection, then maybe you should give it to her.

Or, you could just say, "I thought you might like this."
