I noticed after my shower this morning that my nips were peeling (again!) and when I brushed them off, one of them dribbled a drop of milk.  Of course I freaked out and was hopping around the bathroom saying oh my god oh my god.  DH pokes his head out of the shower to see what was wrong and when I told him he screamed "EW!  I don't want to see it!" like a little girl and closed the curtain.

I know it's all part of the game, but I just wasn't expecting it so early!  I've planned on breastfeeding, but when you don't have your baby yet, liquid coming out of there just seems so unnatural!

is it milk? when I was PG I had a clear drip a few times, but it happened so infrequently I didn't think much of it. Maybe you are, um, overstimulated? That could do it. If you are leaking a lot, you might want to get a box of the nursing pads, just so you stay dry (and clean!)

It was just a drop.  I squeezed again and sure enough, another drop.  Hopefully that's it, if not, it looks like I'll have to get some nursing pads. I'm pretty sure that after DH's reaction it will be hands off from now on!  It's yellow-ish in color...like eggnog...so I'm assuming that it must be the cholostrum.  I have an appt. next week, so I'll be sure to ask.

I had the same thing, chapped nips all the time and leaky boobs. For me it only happened when I was going to take a shower. I never noticed it any other times. Just make sure you don't try to squeeze out too much it can cause contractions.
