Oh, the KnitWitch on youtube has helped me tons. It's so much easier to watch someone explain/demonstrate stitches than to look at pics. I also checked out videos (I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting) from the library. I didn't start until May or so and if I can learn then anyone can.
That blanket is cute! I'm going to add it to my list. I'm in a scarf and hat phase right now.
i aspire to make something like that by the end of the year. i have to go back to HL because i was originally going to take up knitting but i got a crochet needle b/c the book i got called for one and i think i like crocheting better.
so i have a knitting book i can't return to HL if anyone wants it...kinda sad b/c it was 16. blah
