While people know that a certain country needs to be smacked down about how they are waging a certain war - no one is actually DOING anything. It is like the old genocide frustration....
I hear my phone ring EVERY time except the time when the person calling has left early for the day. That time I only hear the lower volume vm chime.
Positive:
I'm moving in 18 days! I've already done all the address changes too!
Vent: I'm tired and I'm too wired to go to bed.
Positive:
I walked on the treadmill for 40 mins today.
I start Prometrium tommorrow to bring on AF (finally!)
Vent:
Nico is sick with a terrible cough that got progressively worse all night, keeping all of us awake (taking him to the doc today). As if that didn't make me feel bad enough, I know I'll be talked *** about all day at work for calling out and staying home with him. I'm the only one on the payroll right now with a child and already overheard how nice it must be to get 'free days off because your kid is sick'
Positives:
My little guy can get some much needed rest today at home in his own bed!
Vents:
I'm so tired. I haven't had a second to just sit down this week.
Positives:
I only have to work till 10am on Friday, I'm going to see one of my good friends for her bday on Saturday, the Eagles are playing on Sunday and I have off on Monday. Yay!
I don't know if this is positive, but it's funny...I found out last night at my association meeting that a guy in our development sunbathes nude and poses for art students nude for extra $$$. Apparently some of the roofers caught a glimpse or two of him and reported him to the board. Interesting...
Vent: I'm so over winter, can they take it away now? I have another 6:30am to 6:30pm workday. It blows...
Positives: Our 12 week ultrasound is on Monday. I'm so excited and a teensy bit nervous.

I have a job interview this morning so please, if you can, send positive job getting vibes my way. ?I really want this one!?
Vent: I'm tired. H's classes started this week and the disruption to our routine is driving me nuts. He gets home ~10:30 or 11:00 and then wants to talk about our days. I want to go to bed b/c I have to get up early! Needless to say, its leading to a lot of heated discussion.
Positive -- Its hump day and we're going into a 3 day weekend
Vent: I have to drive to Atlantic Cape College (1 hour) to take a keyboarding proficiency test for my Business Ed certification. I have a masters degree - I'm pretty sure I can type. Not to mention, it's freezing out! I don't feel like walking around looking for these buildings. Oh well.
Positive: I'm working from home today, which makes hump day a little easier. And I had dinner last night with a friend I haven't seen in a few months - so that was good!
Vent: I HATE the cold and don't want to go outside till it's over and refinancing the house is taking so long...it took 4 weeks to get assigned to a lender and now it's dragging even more
Positive: We have a three day weekend which I so need b/c this weeks been dragging
Vents:
~ I hate cold weather and wish it were spring or summer
~ I really don't want to be back at work, while I believe DS is doing well at the daycare, I would like him to go 3 days a week only
~ Even though I mentally prepared myself for no increase or bonus this year, i had my year-end review and it was awesome but "sorry, no increase"..it's crappy that all my hard work, stress and long hours during most of my pregnancy gets no reward other than a pat on the back.
~ I wish I was brave enough to ask to work part-time -- I know they will say no and I don't want them to think I'm not serious about working (because if i'm going to work, i want to be moving up) but if I could work part-time for like 6 months I would feel better about DS being at daycare.
Positives:
~ I have a job
~ I love my son and it's a great feeling when I pick him up at daycare, he is all smiles and giggles.
~I'm looking forward to the 3 day weekend ahead

I'm going on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend (I know, I'm a huge dork, but I love it and it's so much fun. This year my mom, MIL and two SIL are coming)
My husband brought me home a peanut butter cup blizzard from dairy queen last night
Vent: This stupid cold I have won't go away! I can't go visit my friends who just had a baby with it. There is no way I'd go see a preemie whose in the NICU with a cold!
I can't find a darn copy of the New Jersey Knot Magazine to save my life. Everywhere has the PA/DE version. Um, hello, we're in NJ!
The husband and I spent a lot of time pissing and moaning about what bad pack rats we are. we have so much useless crap. I don't know why we can't seem to throw anything away.
Yay:
- We're getting a new couch tonight
- I might go see my sister this weekend
- I lost another lb
- My skin is really clear
Vents:
- My office is ridiculously cold and I'm going to have to invest in a space heater soon
- This new job is killing me
- I only get one weekend day coming up (how the hell does everyone have 3-day weekends???) and I'll be flying all day Sunday during the games with my only layover in PHOENIX. Ugh.
Positives:
- If I have to be working next week, at least it will be somewhere warm
- I spent time with family and some old friends this week.
- It's my birthday next week!!
Vents-
OMG I am miserable with this freezing weather! I love summer (even those 95 degree days!) and this is torture for me.
My skin has been a hot mess since I stopped taking BCP
Positives-
My best friend and I are having a girls' weekend in DE this weekend bc it is 1/2 from each of us (she is in MD). We rented a room at the Christiana Hilton for Sat night and are going to go shopping, eat lots, see Bride Wars (we were each other's MOH's at the same time, too!) and catch up. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself!
My H has class tonight for the first time in over a month and I am kinda excited to have the house to myself!
Vent:
1. I have to make up a study guide for a test I'm giving Friday and I don't feel like doing it.
2. I have to start writing my final...and the study guide to go with that, and I don't feel like doing that either.
Positive:
1. I have 99 days to go on my pregnancy countdown. Hitting double digits was exciting. I'm 7 months on the 22nd, and I can't believe how fast time is going.
2. The drywall people finally called us back about taping the sheetrock my husband put up in the nursery. Once it's taped and sanded, we can paint and have the carpet laid.
