Hey,

?I saw your response to the poll below and was just wondering where abouts in LS do you live? There are several of us on this board who live in LS. Also, do you have experience working with infants or what makes you want to take care of one in your home? Have you worked in a center before and want to start one of your own??I am just curious, you can tell me to butt out if you want.?

Hey! ?My H and I just built a house in the Arborwalk subdivision. ?We actually don't live there quite yet - we move on the 30th of this month. ?My professional experience and education are both with elementary special education, but have decided that teaching is not for me. ?I do have experience with infants - from many years of sitting in HS and for family members, but I have no?aspirations?to start any kind of a day care center or anything. ?I want to watch/nanny one infant because I would enjoy it in this time before we're ready for kids, and it would give me a bit of spending money. ?I also believe that when we have kids if I am working out of the home at that time I would like to them to have one-on-one care, and thought maybe I wasn't the only one who would want that. ?I don't mind the questions at all! ?Let me know if you have any others - your girls are precious!

Aww, thanks I think my girls are gorgous, but I am also a little bias. I have my degree and teaching license in early childhood edu so I too enjoy the younger ones. This is my third year teaching kindergarten at a private school, but I too feel that teaching is no longer my calling, now I just need to figure out what I want to do with my life. After last school year I tried searching for something new and different but nothing turned up and we found out twins so I am sticking it out another year. Maybe this spring I will try a search again. Congrats on the new house by the way!
