I'm sooo mad!

DH and I started a diet together the beginning of Jan.  He has lost 7... I have lost none.  Same meals & everything!  Crying

Re: I'm sooo mad!

  • :(  Men always seem to lose weight faster.  Good for you for sticking with it though!

BTW ~ CPK sounds like heaven right now!

  • My Dh has already lost"7" pounds too. How odd, but guess what I have lost NOTHING!!!!!
  • Keep your head up.  Don't look at him for competition, but look at him for motivation.  You'll get there.  And good for you for sticking with it!

  • I doesn't help that I have gained 13 (yes i said 13!!!) since we moved here... Not sure if it's because it's cold and I feel like bundling up and cooking, or because there are so many tasty fried foods, or we're not swimming everyday, or what!  But I am refusing to buy any bigger clothes!

  • Make sure your portions are significantly smaller.  After Rick and I got married, I gained weight because I ate exactly like he did.  And he's 6'3''.  Spanx were my friend for a while.
  • I totally understand how you feel.  Last year DH and I started WW and in 3 months, he lost 30lbs and I lost about 14lbs.  I was so PI$$ED.  We both ate the same foods and I ate smaller portions, yet he dropped A LOT more weight than I did.    We're both back on it now, because we need to drop a few more pounds ourselves, yet I dont' think I'll be asking him how much he's lost/gained.

  • That sucks!!  You stick with it and hang in there!
  • I completely understand...we did the scale back last year, he lost 13 and I lost 5!  Men just don't understand how much harder it is for us!

I also gained weight when I started eating exactly what Jarrett ate...I haven't quite learned my lesson yet, but I'm getting there!

  • Stick with it! If my DH didn't drink Mt Dew everyday he would drop 30 in a few weeks. While I've been drinking nothing but water for months and not lost much!
