Wow.. I wonder what the reasoning is. I can't imagine that children can be taken from their parents based on their odd names, alone. I sure hope they aren't being absued

Honestly making a statement with your child's name is child abuse.  Other countries have laws that protect against it.  But those parents seemed like real winners,  so who knows what else was going on.

H and I saw this on the news last night. I feel so bad for those kids... Such a shame. I just don't understand people.

I would also have to think that something else is going on in the background for 2 kids to be taken away from their parents...I don;t believe bad names would be cause enough (no matter how horrible) When i worked at CHOP we had a pt named Christ (no joke) come in

It is so sad...The kids are always the ones that pay the biggest price

Oh my goodness!  I remembered hearing about the cake boy, but I didn't realize there were sisters named that way as well.  I will never understand what posesses people to do things like that!  I hope that, for whatever reason they were taken away, those poor babies will be okay now.
