i have a harry potter scar on my forehead. it's much paler than his, though, thank goodness.

i have a little heart-shaped birthmark. no, i can't show it to you.

i carry a little notebook with me everywhere.

i swear. a lot. especially when i watch hockey.

i have 8 tattoos, 4 of which are on my back. i want more, i just don't know what.

i'm afraid of bees, including the fat fuzzy ones, and any other flying thing with a stinger. i even wrote a story about it. i'm also afraid of dogs, even though they don't have stingers--although i'm getting better about that one...

when i was little i was in one of those domestic violence commercials. i sat in a rocking chair with a doll and pretended to cry while they played a voice-over of a couple fighting. they let me keep the doll.

i have to add one more thing, just because i can't leave it on an odd number.

I have a heart-shaped birthmark, too! It is upside down on my left shoulder.

I once lived in my car.

I adopt other's OCD issues. For instance, DW has a thing about numbers-- important dates, the numbers on other people's license plates, etc. shouldn't ever add up to 6-- and now I habitually add numbers when I see them. 

I wear knee-highs every day to work. They slide down if I don't shave, so sometimes I just shave a little 2-inch swath directly under my knees so the elastic will grip.

I started taking classes at the local college when I was 14, graduated high school at 16, and went straight to college. Then took 5 years to finish undergrad (dual degree, but still...)

I was once in a movie with Vanessa Redgrave.

I miss my Grandmother (who died in 2007) every day.

I dated Julie in High School, she didn't tell me she was engaged to someone else. 2 years later we met back, up and I forgave her. We're married. Once a cheater isn't always a cheater.

I never got my BA or went after a promotion because I always figured I'd be a wife and a SAHM at a really young age. HA!

I love to bake for S and friends/family but almost never eat what I make for others.

I can use a chainsaw with some proficiency.

A homeless woman once asked me for a pair of underwear (I had my suitcase with me), and I gave it to her. I felt bad afterward because I picked out a rust-colored pair I didn't like very much, and I should have given her a pretty pair, or three pairs, or three pretty pairs.

I'm 29 years old, I've lived in 7 states, and I've had probably 20 or so jobs.

My favorite kind of tea is Earl Grey. I also love white tea, green tea, white and green tea mixed together, and pretty much all other teas except ones that are overly gingery, cinnamony, or floral. I drink a lot of tea.

I drink coffee with skim milk and no sweetener, unless I'm at a nice sit-down restaurant. Then I use sugar. I don't know why.

My fitness goal for 2009 is to finish an Olympic triathlon and a marathon. My fitness goal for 2010 is to climb a rope for the first time in my life.

I saw Jay Leno in person once at a museum. I hated his shirt.

The #1 thing on my list of things to do before I die is see the Northern Lights.

Wow, I could do this forever. I will stop now. :-D?

I've never broken a bone or had surgery.

On the rare occasion that I don't make the bed and C does - I remake it when she's not looking.

I was president of my HS theatre company and seriously considered pursuing technical theatre (i.e. behind the scenes stuff) as a career (I acted too).

Since so many have shared tattoo info - I love the tradition, history and artform of tattooing. I have two, and dream of one day having a half-sleeve on my right arm and the left side of my back covered.

I am 100% inept at any and all sports.

My parents had me in their teens, then divorced and remarried when I was very young.  My half siblings are aged 14, 13, and 2.5 (<-- yes, I am more than 2 decades older than my youngest sibling!)

I did ballet (and tap and "jazz" - do they still call it that?) for several years - even competitively for a short time - and I miss it terribly (it's really hard to find a good adult class!).

I am relatively afraid of the dark.

I gave up pork about 2 years ago.

I am a nervous driver.  I avoid highways, won't drive downtown, am afraid of getting lost, and won't go very far alone.

I am in major debt credit card wise due to bad choices I made at age 18.

I love the number 4.

E and I have agreed I will remain a home maker and become a SAHM once we have kids; I only take classes in college toward a degree because it keeps our friends quiet - they think I am taking advantage of E, he doesn't feel that way.

I have our budget planned out down to the dollar through the end of 2010 and I will start on 2011 after I am done posting this!

We eat out far too much.

I love baking.

I secretley hope we have twins.

For some reason I suck at blogging.

Movies are my favorite passtime outside of reading.

I know quite a bit about sports bikes... and am getting one for my 21st birthday -- paid for in full! (Yea, I'm proud).

My favorite food is brownies... or fudge.

the first time I spent the night in the hospital or had surgery was when I gave birth to the boys.

 I don't have any tattoos and no plans on getting one. They just aren't me.

I've worn the same pair of pearl earrings since the morning of our wedding. I couldn't find my pearl earrings the day before the wedding, so L went out and bought a pair and gave them to me the morning of the wedding (I never told her I found the original pair!) Nearly 6 years now!

 I am very impatient - which doesn't always work well when you have 2 two year olds!

I love a margarita on the rocks (with salt) on a warn/hot night.

I am obsessed with Disney - not the movies or the characters, but the parks and planning.  I listen to Disney podcasts on my iPod and go to Disney message boards. L thinks it is weird.

I despise milk but once a year I get a taste for it, drink a glass, and then remember why I don't like it.

 I wish we'd traveled more before we had kids.

I have never spent the night away from the kids. They are a few months older than 2.5.

I can count the number of times that I have gone to sleep and not woken till morning on one hand during the last 3.5 years.

I never balance the bank account.

I have a slight case of OCD - I always do things in equal numbers, if I clean I always wipe things clockwise or if I stir coffee its always clockwise, I wash my hands a million times a day and keep our house as germ & dust free as I possibly can, luckily N is a clean freak too.  Its not as bad as it sounds, or more like I don't have it so bad, at all, its just little things.

N and I met 14 years ago and have only gotten serious in the last few years.

1 have 2 tatoos but have gotten tatooed 3 times.  The first a yin yang "smudged" and turned into a 1" black blog on my sholder.  S designed a new one to cover it (a sun) I also have a ladybug on my foot.  S has one too because once she say how cool it was she wanted one.  We got them on the vacation in p-town when we got engaged

I have only lived outside of Ma for 9 months.  My college dorm was across the street from the hospital I was born in

I was a gymnast growing up

I have broken 7 bones (which is remarkable due to the sport I participated in)  My middle finger (five times) My spine (stress fracture) and 5 bones in my foot (all at once! and shooting a free throw)

I can not do any sport involving a ball(see above)

I am right dom. for most things except sports where I am a south paw

My best friend and I have been friends since I was 3

My grandfather was one of 21 children (all from the same parents)

I got a beagle so that I could name him Darwin without researching the breed

My desk is very messy and my wife sometimes comes into my classroom to clean it up
