Female OBGYN?

I've seen all these recs for gyns but are any of them female? and if so which office are they at?  I'm looking for a new OBGYN to switch too b/c mine is too crazy to get into and I always feel rushed.  I've always went to a female Dr and would prefer to stay with one

Re: Female OBGYN?

  • I'm not sure where you live, but I go to Dr. Vega in Woodbury. I really like her, and they have 2 female NPs.
  • I didn't post below, but in the practice I go to, all the doctors are women.

THe name of the group is OB/GYN Associates on Fries Mill Rd. in Sewell. I see Dr. Nevins usually, but I've also seen Dr. DiGiovanni, and they've both been great. GL!

  • I am in love with Women's HealthCare in Mullica Hill.  Dr. O'Flynn is female and Patty Madden is the midwife.  I have only seen Patty and serously--love her.  The wait time can be a little much, but when you are in the room, even with just the nurses, it's like you are the only person in the entire office.

    and then there were 3...
  • Ditto Jackie.  I used to go to the same office as eb, but moved so we just switched to Dr. O'Flynn's practice and I really like it.  They've called to check up on me with some things since my appt, too, which I wasn't expecting.

  • I live in Pitman NJ and I already go to the one on Fries mill...I see Dr. Richicci(howerver the spell that).  SHe's not there a lot and you can wait 2 hrs before seeing her
  • Why not try a difft. doc within the office before switching then? Dr. Nevins is the newest, although, she's been there for a few years. It's easier to get appts. with her, and I don't wait as long in the waiting room as those who see your doc or even Dr. DiGiovanni.
  • NYGirl, we had the same issue at that office.  I liked all of the docs, but wanted some place a little more consistent (as well as closer).

I really do rec the place in Mullica Hill and it should be closer for you.  Wait time is a bit long at times, but you know it's due to only having two physicians instead of waiting and still not knowing who you will see.

I go here too.  I've never had the waiting problem, but then I usually just see a NP.  It's just the usual check-up so I'm not picky.  I guess when I'm preggars I'll want the same person though.
