Did you see all the road closed signs off to the side of the road on Jonesville yesterday? We didn't get any kind of notice but I'm hoping that it means they are going to widen the road or at least the bridge, did you guys get anything?
Re: ***MrsD***
We didn't either. I spoke w/ our HOA prez last weekend and she said it wasn't supposed to start until March, but maybe, since they put it off from the original start of last year, they've decided to start earlier-I'm thinking of calling the county-or someone on Tuesday just to find out-it would be nice to know when so I know when I have to start using Roper Mtn to get to Woodruff Road in the mornings-sooo not looking forward to that-lol. Which part of Jonesville are you all on? before the bridge or after??
btw-the way I understand it is that they're widening the road AND the bridge-I'm just not 100% sure how much-as far as the road's concerned.
I can just say-finally!!!!-that bridge is scary-even if you're the only car on it!!!
We're after the bridge and I agree that bridge is scary, I meet the school bus on it most mornings, it gets a little tight, I feel like we need to breath in
Hopefully it won't last to long.
I completely agree/understand. When I came home this afternoon, they had the "detour" signs uncovered on woodruff rd and part of the fence on the right side of J'ville taken down w/ a bunch of the bobcat/caterpillar rigs on the side of the road.
I'm hoping it doesn't take too long, but at the same time, I'd rather them take as long as they need so that they don't have to work on it again for a while. :-)
I guess we'll see what happens-it'll be eventful to say the least!!!
