Budget Friendly Dates in Madison
I'm looking for some suggestions. My husband and I are living on one income right now so are on a very tight budget. We're looking for things to do that are cheaper in the Madison area that will get us out of the house. We don't want to get in a rut because we never go out. Plus we have multiple things coming up including my birthday, his birthday, vday, and an anniversary. Does anybody have any suggestions? We've already talked about ice skating and sledding and going to the vet museum. We're not art people at all so that doesn't interest us. We love sports and are very laid back people. We are willing to travel a little bit too but not incredibly far. TIA!

Check here for some ideas...I think the Olbrich Sunday concerts are free, but I've never gone, just seen them advertised.
If you like wine, Wollersheim Winery is fun. It is more fun in the summer (obviously) but we've gone in the winter, and it is great, too.
