Re: Superbowl recipes!
Here's mine:
Bufflalo chicken dip
2 10z. cans of chunk chicken, drained
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing
3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (Frank's, Louisianna, etc.)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a baking dish (8X8) and bake for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly. (Can also be transferred into a crock pot on low.) Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, celery, etc.
I got the from a co-worker a few years ago and DH loves it. He requests it even when we are not going somewhere, just to snack on!
^^ Aww man, that is what I was going to suggest!!
This is a very popular dip at my work:
Corn Dip
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 can corn (some recipes call for 2 cans, but I usually just use one)
1 can rotel
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced onions
Mix and chill for at least an hour. Serve with chips. Yum!
We love bringing veggie pizza to parties/tailgating or just eating it at home. It's pretty easy to make; the vegetable chopping takes the longest time.
Veggie pizza:
2 cans crescent rolls
1 cup sour cream or mayo (or a combination of the two)
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
1 brick light cream cheese
Favorite veggies, chopped into small pieces (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green onions, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, etc.)
Spread out the crescent rolls to form a large, flat crust & bake as directed on package (11-13 min.) and allow to cool. With hand mixer or stand mixer, blend together cream cheese, sour cream/mayo, and ranch dressing mix until smooth. Spread on cooled crescent roll crust & top with chopped vegetables. Optional: garnish w/shredded cheese. Store in fridge.
The brown sugar chocolate chip bars from Death By Chocolate Cookies by Marcel Desaulniers are another big hit. The recipe is here:

and one of the food blogs I read had a beer cheese dip that I haven't tried yet but sounds good!

I pph baked brie.
Basically what I do it get a wheel of brie, cut off the rind, and cover it with a puff pastry crust. Put an egg wash over the pastry, stick it in the oven until golden brown (approx. 20-30 mins) and serve warm with crackers or fruit.
It's delicious!
