So today I am finally back in the office and it feels so weird. DH is gone this week so I dropped Pepper off at doggy day care so that she will have some interaction during the day.

I have a dentist appointment (cleaning) that I wish I had rescheduled so I could just stay home today but ah well.. not the worst thing ever (I hope). I'm a little nervous I'll miss something tommorrow since I won't get off work till 11 and then have to drive home... hmm... then the rest of the week is driving all over the state. hmm....

I am ready for a vacation, but I worry that if I do get a full-time job soon, that could be a deal breaker for them if I already have it scheduled. I want to go away with Mike and friends during University of Florida's spring break so I don't have to worry about school stuff and then a friend asked me to help with a wedding down in Mexico in April.

I think I have a sinus infection and I have been sick for 10 days...this sucks.

I'm heading to the doctor later today though- so an end is near, I hope.

We just got back from California early this morning, so I'm just not digging this cold weather. I have a lot of catching up to do with work today, but I'm doubting it is going to get done.

I have to back to work tomorrow for the first day since the Tuesday before Christmas. Hoping that the mood is less tense than it was before all the time off (I work in the automotive industry, and everyone's been pretty freaked out by all the low sales).

PUBoilerBride - I was unemployed for part of last year and had an interview just about a month before we were getting married. ?We already had the honeymoon booked and paid for so I was nervous about what to do. ?I decided I had to tell them in the interview, but I waited until the end when I was hoping they had fallen in love with me. ?They appreciated my honesty and hired me regardless of the fact that I was going on a vacation after having been there just a month. ?I'm sure not every job is like that but hopefully something like that will work out for you.

10 days till we leave for our cruise.  Between that and baby on the brain, i'm getting NOTHING done at work.  And this should be my busiest time of year.

My husband and I were both home today and we had a cleaning extravaganza. I feel much better about the house now. Our master bathroom in particular was disgusting. I can't wait for this heartburn to go away. Tonight is our "fancy dinner night" for the week; I'm stoked about trying a potato goat cheese gratin recipe.

I love that my husband is so handy around the house and loves to do home improvement things himself, but we're getting ready to replace our current kitchen floor with tile and I'm a little worried since neither of us have any experience doing that. I hope it isn't as complicated as I think it's going to be.

DH left for a work conference until MONDAY... sheesh... I'll feel like a bachelorette again.

lol, you can definitely borrow him, but I can't promise your house will be in one piece afterward. I came home from work one day to find that on his day off he'd put dry wall up in the living room because he was "bored". We'd been talking about doing that anyway, the house is older and it had panelling up, but I didn't expect him to just randomly do it one day. You never know what you'll come home and find!
