I am looking to host a baby shower late spring early summer. and i was wondering if there are any good places to have them. Tea room? something different than just hosting it at my house.
any suggestions.
Re: ? for Greenville nesties
My cousin and his wife are TTC and I'm looking forward to hosting a tea party style luncheon in the mother's honor at Mary's downtown. If the day is nice you can have it out on the patio with beautiful views of Falls Park. If it's yucky out you can have it indoors which is nice as well.
They usually close after lunch, but I believe you can rent out the space provided you use their catering after like 1 pm.
do u know how expensive it is?
Also there is a nice place on Congaree Road on Greenville called Twigs. Very pretty and quaint.

will have all their pricing info. They have an ourtdoor area that is covered and surrounded by a garden that is gorgeous in the spring...
good luck!
To go there for lunch it is like $7-8 per person, so not too pricey. Some of her catering options are really fancy though. I'm guessing you don't need steak or prime rib at your shower. They have fantastic sandwiches. I would call and see if maybe they couldn't even do some of their basic sandwiches and quarter them... Do a large salad, and then fruit and veggie trays.
Anyway I'd give them a call and see if they can work with you to get something in your budget: http://www.fallscottage.com/site/Home.html
