Need ideas for a place to have birthday party :)
HEY!!!
I'm at a loss! I need to plan a party for my son's 1st birthday. Most of our family is in the Pasadena/Arcadia Area so we want to keep it within an hours drive.
I had thought about taking a camping trip or renting a small beach house and having a whole beach day but haven't found anything reasonably priced. It's our anniversary as well so we were hoping to make it special. Any ideas? TIA

we did the bean's first birthday party at the carousel on the santa monica pier. ?you can rent half of the room that surrounds the carousel, and it's good for up to 30 people. ?you also have the option of taking the entire room.
made for some really cool pictures, and everyone had a great time.?
I'm sorry! I don't think I can be of much help, we're probably going to DD's in our backyard.
I actually just wanted to respond and tell you that our daughter "crashed" our anniversary too! She was born 4 weeks early on May 13(same day as your son!) and our 3rd anniversary was on May 14 08. I keep teasing DH, because Mather's Day [usually] happens to fall during that week, he's going to be a busy bee. lol.
Crazy! He was 10 days late and was born on our 2nd. DH thought it was a nice anniversary gift but I could've done without all the pain
