New!

I just wanted to say Hi! I just moved here from San Diego. What do people do here for fun?

Re: New!

  • Hi Mandy!   Welcome! :)

I live in Ogden, and it looks like you're in Draper.  Skiing and snowboarding are the biggest thing here, since we have a bunch of mountains and snow.  You'll probably like the summer more since there is a lot more to do (with all the lakes and reservoirs around, there is lots of boating).  It depends on if you're an outdoorsy person or if you like to stay indoors.  They have stuff down there like the Live Aquarium (if it's still open), the Gateway mall.  Here is a link to fun stuff to do here:

I use that when I try to think of "dates" for my husband and I. :)  Hope it helps!

  • There's lots to do here, if you're into sports there's golf, hiking, trails, mountain climbing and of course skiing/ sledding/snowboarding. And if you're more of an indoors kind of person, there's lots a great places to eat or get a drink (yes our liquor laws are kind of lame but you can still drink here, even on Sunday).
